Wine Tour FAQs
Q: Which pick up areas are included on the wine tour packages?
A: We serve the Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez Valley areas and nearby vicinities. Out of area pick up is available for an additional fee. We have gone as far south as Anaheim and as far North as San Francisco. Call us with more details and we will be happy to answer any questions and make your request a reality.
Q: What time do your wine tours usually start and end?
A: Typically, we start our Santa Barbara area pickups at 10 am and Santa Ynez area pickups start at 10:45 am. Once you have completed your wine tour reservation, we will adjust the exact pickup time based on your address and specific itinerary.
Q: How many wineries can be visited on a typical wine tour?
A: Our wine tour packages include up to four wineries. However, based on your group size, three wineries may be a better choice so you do not feel rushed trying to get from winery to winery. Please call us or visit our Wine Tours page for further details.
Q: What is included in the wine tour package?
A: Our Classic Wine Tour Package includes tasting fees, a gourmet picnic lunch, and shared transportation. Depending on your group size, we offer a limousine or party bus upgrade for an additional fee. Our Exclusive Wine Tour Package includes the same features of the classic package, plus, additional options such as your choice of wineries, private vehicle, and more. Follow the link to explore more details.
Q: Do we pick the wineries, or do you take us to specific wineries?
A: We work with most of the wineries in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, and Solvang, and we will happily take your requests into consideration. However, the final itinerary depends on the wineries’ availability and acceptance of the group’s occasion. Some wineries are not included in the classic package, but most can be added for an additional fee per person in your group. Please call us for further details.
Q: What time do the wineries close?
A: Typically, most wineries in the area close at about 5 pm, with the last wine pouring starting at 4:45 pm, while some wineries do stay open until 6 pm.
Q: How many different wines can we taste at each winery?
A: Most wineries have a flight with five-to-eight different wines for you to try. Usually, the wine sample selection includes a mix of whites and reds, but it varies from winery to winery.
Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: Yes! We are a pet-friendly wine tour company, but we do have a list of guidelines and rules when people bring their pets on the winery tour. Additionally, keep in mind that the size of the pet, and the vehicle being charted, play a big role in our acceptance of allowing your pet on the tour. For instance, we have found that we cannot accommodate some large pets in the small vehicles we have available.
